Students will see themselves as authors and ferocious readers

shift the culture around text and literacy in the school, so our students express a love of reading and writing and see themselves as authors.
Setting Learning Targets

Students will be able to demonstrate self-awareness and critical thinking in writing attainable and personal learning goals. They will improve their abilities to self and peer assess, and will be able to identify learning intentions.
Be more reflective of their learning process

Students will learn how to work with the MAP e-portfolio (Full student involvement in working with MAP) in the classroom and be reflective of the process of learning and documenting their work.

Students will recognize why their learning is important to them.
Develop better Self-Efficacy in all areas of competency development

Students will live and work by a growth mindset and will generate more confidence when working with challenging concepts or tasks.
Myrtle Ed Talks.
The Myrtle Ed Talks have been a 6 year public speaking program put together through the collaborative efforts of our intermediate teaching team. We have seen a progression of students develop their progress in this realm. Reflecting and building on their capacity year after year.
